Nurse Sarah Shaw finds herself working the evening shift and worrying about her husband, William. He had just gotten a few weird calls and notes, and he wasn’t answering his phone. When the police come to find her at the hospital, everyone starts talking. William was murdered! And even worse, his new wife is the one that they are looking to pin the murder on.
As the police work to figure out what exactly happened that night and who murdered William (or if he committed suicide), Sarah learns more about her new husband than she imagined. He was hiding things from her, just as she was hiding things from him.
As more notes and deaths occur, things unravel quickly, and you will not know what happened until the very end! I read this book very quickly, because I just had to figure out who was the murderer, and who was safe! You will not see the twist at the end coming.
I loved this book so much, I think that I am going to start reading more thrillers. It is so exciting to try to piece together the crime, and then watch it all unfold in a way that you never imagined!
