  • A Pop Star Invades Heather’s College Dorm and Changes Everything

Book Cover off of Amazon Website

Heather is hoping for a calm summer. Her residential dorm is closed for renovations over the summer, so she just has a few residents helping to keep things running. But then, Tania’s bodyguard gets shot, and her camp of teenage girls gets moved into the dorm.

She gets ready for a reality TV crew, Tania, and a slew of teenage girls, until a homicide spoils the fun. Cooper and Heather are determined to get to the bottom of it, all while trying to figure out their new relationship (and hiding it from the world).

Another great read in the series. You can’t go wrong with Size 12 and Ready to Rock by Meg Cabot. I can’t wait to see how this series ends!

I love Sophie Kinsella and all of her books. When I found Finding Audrey on sale, just had to pick it up.

In Kinsella’s book, we meet Audrey who finds herself in an uncomfortable position. She is dealing with an anxiety disorder, which leaves her unable to leave her home or connect with anyone else. She has been meeting with Dr. Sarah and slowly improving, though she feels like she should be doing better than she is.

When Audrey meets her brother’s friend Linus, she can’t believe how close she feels to him. He helps her move out of her comfort zone and helps her find the way to healing.

  • Nicholas Sparks is Always A Pleasure

Book Cover off of Amazon Website

When looking for my next read, I decided to go back to a favorite of mine since I started reading adult novels. Nicholas Sparks’ latest book, Counting Miracles, was as good as the rest.

Tanner Hughes, raised by his grandparents in the military, followed his grandfather’s footsteps. After finishing with the Rangers, he spent years abroad, never settling down. When his grandmother dies, she spills a little secret, one about his father.

Never knowing his mother or father, he is determined to find his father. So, he sets out for Asheboro, North Carolina, to find him. In less than a day, he meets a doctor, Kaitlyn Cooper, who changes everything. Their connection is immediate, and they have to decide whether or not to start a relationship, with him leaving in a few weeks.

We also meet eighty-three-year-old Jasper, who lives alone in a cabin bordering a national forest. He spends his days with his old dog, Arlo, haunted by the tragedy that took his family. When he hears about a white deer, he is determined to save it from hunters.

When these characters find themselves linked together in a way that nobody saw coming, you will be amazed. It changes everything!

If you aren’t sure what to read next, Sparks is always a good choice. He delivers, and readers will be amazed at any book they pick up!
