Book Cover off of Amazon Website

Although Lauren is back, Isabel is still struggling to get her life back on track. She is pregnant and working on her marriage. She is also trying to fix her relationship with Lauren.

Alicia is gone. Jody is dead. Life has got to calm down, right? There is nobody else left with a vendetta against her, right?

When Deacon comes to her with a job opportunity in Canada, she is torn about whether to accept it. Can she leave her family and friends behind? Will starting over be good for their family? Going somewhere where nobody knows who they are?

Unfortunately, their move is just the beginning of their journey; it is the beginning of the end. Will Isabel finally get the closure that she deserves?

The Bitter End by Lorna Douvaeva was the ending that this series deserved. Now it is time for something lighter!

  • How Far Would You Go If Your Daughter Was Kidnapped?

Book Cover off of Amazon Website

    It’s every parent’s worst nightmare…

Ever since Isabel dealt with Jody and her sister Alicia, she hasn’t trusted that it was over. Even though Alicia was dead, Jody was very much alive. Isabel knew in her heart that Jody would be back for her.

Because of that, she kept her daughter, Lauren, close. She was allowed to go to school, and that was it. She even took her there and picked her up, not even allowing her to walk the few blocks to school. However, that doesn’t even keep her safe.

When she is kidnapped outside of school, Isabel knows that Jody is behind this somehow. Unable to do anything but wait (and work with the police), she struggles. Her marriage, which may have been in trouble before, feels like it may not survive this challenge.

Even worse, the police in charge seem to think that Isabel is the one who caused the kidnapping, not Jody. They think that she somehow did this herself, for some unknown reason. They are more worried about picking apart her statement than looking for Lauren. They even start looking at her family members and friends.

Panicked, she starts taking matters into her own hands, figuring that she is going to be the only person who is going to find her daughter!

Angel Dust by Lorna Dounaeva is another great book in this series. I highly recommend this series. You won’t be able to put it down. I am already partway through the third book!

So, what is a girl to do? She gained a few dress sizes, found a place to stay, and a new job, even though it is not glamorous at all! Elevator surfing is a strange hobby for college students, but Heather just knows that the dead girl is not one who would ever elevator surf. That is just not something that girls do. Book Cover off of Amazon Website

Julie has always loved her daughter, Grace. She would do anything to protect her precious child. She just can’t believe how much she truly loves her.

However, Grace has changed a lot since she became a teenager. She hangs with a different crowd than she used to, even ditching her best friend. She is quiet and will barely talk to her mother anymore.
