The Baker collection continues with Amish Honor, where we meet Honor, who can’t wait to find love. Only she finds it with her new brother-in-law, which only makes trouble for the couple that can’t be. They decide to run away, because that is the only thing that makes sense.
Being sensible, Florence finds herself relying on her English neighbor. She finds herself attracted to him, but he is English and there are some things that don’t seem to add up for Florence.
You won’t believe what happens in the second book in the series (which will only make you want to read the entire series)!

I started reading this collection before I started writing book reviews. Now that I am working my way through the final few books, I wanted to let my readers know how much I LOVED every book in this series (and I am on book 34)!
We first meet the Baker family through Mercy. She has always wanted to be married, and when she meets a family friend, she is smitten. It doesn’t take long before she rushes into marriage.
Florence, who has taken over the role of parent in the Baker household, is starting to feel like an old maid (even though she is still within marrying age). She also takes care of the orchard, which gives her little time to think about her own marriage prospects. Besides, who would take care of the orchard if she ever left home?
Then Florence meets her new Englisher neighbor and it turns her life upside down. She has to make a choice, which will affect the rest of her life.
This is the perfect book to start a series. Readers will go from one story to the next so that they can stay in the Baker family!

As someone who loves reading Amish novels, I have been collecting a few new authors that I thought it was time to try. I decided to start with Amish Celebrations by Beth Wiseman.
In it, I read four short stories centered on celebrations in the Amish community, such as rumschpringe, baptism, weddings, and Christmas.
In The Gift of Sisters, we meet Hannah and Rachel, twins who are almost sixteen and ready to enjoy their rumschpringe. However, they couldn’t be more different. Hannah is outgoing and attracts attention with her beauty, while Rachel is shy and can be considered withdrawn.
When Abraham Stoltzfus arrives in their community, both girls decide he is the man they want to marry. The girls end up fighting each other over a man, and it is a page-turner to figure out which girl will end up with the new man in town!
In A New Beginning, we meet Rebecca and Noah, who are set to be married in a few weeks. One night out changes everything for the couple, as Noah begins to have doubts about baptism and marriage.
When the couple finally comes face-to-face again, they have to decide what they both want. Can they forgive each other and move on? Or will Noah end up leaving the faith and the Amish?
In A Perfect Plan, we meet Priscilla King, who has to have everything perfect! When Chester Lapp finally asks her to marry him, she can’t wait to begin planning her special day.
However, as things start to fall apart in the weeks before the wedding, will both Priscilla and Chester have a change of heart? Will they learn to trust God and know that everything will work out in the end? Or will Priscilla give up on true love because she is worrying too much?
In A Christmas Miracle, we meet Mary, overwhelmed with her five children. She struggles to take care of her young brood and the house. Both she and her husband are frustrated because they see other big families that seem to have everything figured out.
She reaches out for help from her in-laws, but they are unable to help at all! In fact, they seem to avoid the family as much as possible!
Other than that, she has no one. When an elderly man in a red suit and his sidekick elf befriend Mary, she feels like she is getting a Christmas miracle until her husband stops it. He doesn’t want any help from Englishers. When everything goes downhill again, he has to decide whether he can accept the help his wife so desperately needs.
I loved this collection so much that I started another collection by Wiseman. You will also enjoy them!

Kate had only loved one man, from the time that they were children until now. When he married someone else, she didn’t know what to think. He promised her that he would marry her when she grew up, but before she did, she found herself watching him with his new wife.
So, in A Simple Choice by Samantha Price, she did what she had to do. She left the Amish faith and became an Englisher, well as much as she could. When he asks her to come back to her faith and her family, how can she say no?
Then, she has a chance at love, but she is too scared to take it! Will Kate be able to open her heart again?
After so many heartbreaking reads, I needed a change of pace. I knew when I opened a book by Price, I wouldn’t be disappointed. It was just what I needed!

Horse-loving Amish Annie (in Annie’s Faith by Samantha Price) would prefer the great outdoors to work in the house. However, that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t want to get married. In fact, she has her eyes on someone, but she is not sure that he thinks about her the same way.
She thought that he did, until Liz moved in with them. Liz left the Amish faith to become English. When she found herself without a place to live, she moved in with Annie’s family, wearing makeup and revealing clothing. Annie watches the guy she likes staring at Liz, and just knows that she has lost him.
Will Annie ever find love with the one that she likes? Or will he choose Liz even though she is never going to be Amish again? I couldn’t wait to finish the book so that I could figure out if Annie will get her happily ever after!

In Ephraim’s Chance by Samantha Price, Ephraim and Liz have fallen in love, though many obstacles are in their way. Ephraim is Amish through and through, while Liz, brought up Amish, left the faith. Some of her best friends are Amish, so she is still surrounded by the community.
Even their families are not supportive. Liz’s family disowned her when she left the Amish, while Ephraim’s mom wants him to marry someone more suitable, like Ruth.
Because of their obstacles, the two deny their feelings for a long time. However, they keep coming back to each other, time after time.
When Liz decides to pursue a relationship with an English man, they both have to decide if they can really make it work before they lose each other forever.
Samantha Price does it again! I am already halfway through my next book in the series!

In A Second Chance by Samantha Price, we meet an Amish woman, Rebecca, who fell in love with an Englisher and married him. When he died, she started a business and moved on. She never thought she would be thinking about love again, especially as she got older.
When Jeremiah, an Amish widow, started coming into her shop, he changed her life forever. She wonders if she could go back to being Amish and marrying another man.

Will she ruin Rebecca’s chance at love?
You can never go wrong with Samantha Price. Her books are always a treat to read, especially when you are looking for something that is not so emotional to read. I devour anything she writes!

Morgan, an English woman, has fallen in love with an Amish man named Jacob in Choosing Amish by Samantha Price. Neither of them thought that they would meet and fall in love, but now they are struggling with the challenges that are in front of them.
Can Jacob leave his faith and family for a woman he loves?
Or will Morgan join the Amish faith?
Will Jacob’s family accept Morgan for her past, even if she joins the faith?
What will the young couple do?
Readers will really feel for the couples as they try to figure out what they are going to do. I couldn’t put the book down because I wanted to see what they would decide! You will want to figure it out, too!
